The coastline of the Pembrokeshire National Park is spectacular, and serves as a superb backdrop for all sorts of Coastal Activities. Booking a holiday cottage 5 miles from the Pembrokeshire Coast will enable you to make the most of your holiday in Pembrokeshire. The Pembrokeshire National Park encompasses mile upon mile of awe-inspiring headlands and cliff tops, interspersed with sandy bays and harbours. There are also the offshore islands to visit, as well as the neighbouring Ceredigion Heritage Coastline.

Guests at our holiday cottages can take advantage of this fantastic setting themselves, or may find the water sport centres below helpful in providing equipment and / or water sports tuition. We have also included recommended boat sailings from the ports / harbours nearest to our self catering accommodation in north Pembrokeshire.

Pembrokeshire is also renowned for its sub aqua scenery, with many wrecks proving of interest to diving enthusiasts. Offshore from Pembrokeshire are an exquisite variety of islands, which are home to a huge variety of Pembrokeshire wildlife, especially sea birds. There are many boat sailings both to, and around these islands, which give guests the opportunity to admire the sea marine life en route as well as the resident flora and fauna on arrival.

Voyages of Discovery offer a range of expertly guided voyages to the North Pembrokeshire Islands and offshore Whale and Dolphin watching. Open all year round (limited sailings in winter). Many of those who have stayed with us at the Pembrokeshire Courtyard Cottages have enjoyed these trips.

Bay to Remember - Boat sailings in Cardigan Bay. Watch sea birds, dolphins, porpoises and seals in their natural habitat. Visitors are able to observe these animals up close among the rocks, beaches and coves that are inaccessible from land. Similarly many of our guests have given us good feedback on this holiday experience.

Newsurf - Fun for all at Newgale, beginners & experienced alike. Surf skis / surfboards/ body boards / wet suits etc..all provided. Blue Coast Adventure. Cardigan Bay Watersports -Cardigan Bay Water sports offers a wide range of adventurous and accessible water based activities in a wildlife rich environment. We are located in the charming Welsh fishing village of New Quay in Ceredigion. Open all year round.

Aqauphobia - Take a powerboat cruise from St David’s to the nearby RSPB Reserve of Ramsey island, home to an abundance of marine mammals and sea birds. The coastal waters and islands around the St David’s peninsula are renowned for their dolphins, seals and puffins
