Holiday cottage description: Secret cottage is light and airy, yet retains a very cosy cottage feel. Its beautiful slate floor, beams and stone wall with grand window all add to its character.
Downstairs there is a spacious, well equipped oak kitchen with double oven and Belfast sink; a dining area which comfortably seats eight around an oak dinning table and a living area with ample seating for eight. This includes two large luxurious sofas and a woodburner. The second bedroom is off a small landing area at the base of the stairs – charming room with many features – exposed fireplace (not functioning), stone walls, beams, chandeliers and a king size wrought iron bed. This is served by a shower room off the same landing area.
Upstairs the wooden beams and exposed floorboards continue throughout the three bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a luxurious 4 poster king size bed again with many features and a beautiful chandelier. All the bedrooms are provided with good quality bedding and stylish linen. The main bathroom has a superb double Jacuzzi / spa bath and power shower.
The cottage is centrally heated. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, toasters, dishwasher etc right down to wine bottle stoppers & cafetiere. It is also ‘overstocked’ with crockery and cutlery, thus being suitable for large gatherings, or just convenient for two.
The cottage has a ‘Welcome leaflet’ (detailing the closest shops, recommending where to go if Eating out and just general housekeeping advice) eat out and just general housekeeping advice) and an extensive ‘Information file’ full of local attractions, suggestions for Family Days Out etc..
