Holiday cottage description: This is a truly spectacular, spacious cottage, with a living / dining room which comfortably seats ten people on three sumptuous sofas plus an armchair. The exposed stone walls, slate floors, woodburner, huge chandelier and vaulted beamed ceiling make this a truly characterful and welcoming room. The French windows open onto a private balcony area, with seating, which overlooks the front garden and river. The opposite side of the cottage opens into the sunny Courtyard.
Immediately adjacent to the lounge, there is a modern well equipped, fitted oak kitchen, with washer-dryer. The three bedrooms are all on the ground floor: the master bedroom has a high beamed ceiling, exposed stone wall and four poster king size bed. The second bedroom also has a king size bed and its own en suite with a spacious power shower. The third twin bedroom has high beamed ceilings and wrought iron beds. All the beds are made up with good quality bedding and stylish linen.
The main bathroom is spacious and luxurious: it has a double Jacuzzi bath and separate large power shower.
The cottage is centrally heated. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, toaster, dishwasher etc right down to wine bottle stoppers & cafetiere. It is also ‘overstocked’ with crockery and cutlery, thus being suitable for large gatherings, or just convenient for two.
The cottage has a ‘Welcome leaflet’ (detailing the closest shops, recommending where to go if Eating out and just general housekeeping advice) eat out and just general housekeeping advice) and an extensive ‘Information file’ full of local attractions, suggestions for Family Days Out etc..
