Walsham family (Aug 04) Lovely surroundings and river great for children / fishing. Shame cottage smelt of dogs and was not particularly clean. A little more care + attention to detail would make all the difference. Mwnt beach recommended – saw dolphins + seals – fantastic

Mr & Mrs.Burns (Oct'04). Having stayed here in previous years, it was clear that Tanya and Dylan have made serious efforts to improve the cottages. Well done !! They are very responsive to customer needs. Some great places to visit, Mwnt has both scenic and historic attractions. Aberporth and New Quay put Cornwall in the shade ! If you want a good beach locally, then visit Poppit (Blue flag status) go on a Sunday and see the Lifeboat drill. Finally, watch the salmon jump at Cenarth Falls, you may even catch one.
Jackie and Symon Homes (Nov'04). What a wonderful place, so full of charm & individual character, & that’s just Secret cottage. This is a beautiful place to spend a relaxing time just doing nothing. Tanya & Dylan who were here at the time are charming hosts who do not intrude upon your time but will help in any way they can if you ask them. The Nags Head pub in Abercyth is a long, but beautiful walk along the river. The reward of good food & excellent beer, Emrys, makes it worthwhile though. Get a taxi back because the huge portions of food won’t allow walking later! The beaches are gorgeous with stunning scenery. This was a wonderful way to spend a Birthday weekend – Good food, good friends, excellent surroundings & a beautiful place to stay in. Secret cottage is just that, a secret retreat in the corner of the Courtyard that is just beautiful. Thank you Tanya & Dylan….. Oh, and Sheba, Sinbad & Buster!!
