Denise and Mark Jonas. New Year ‘07/’08. Beautiful cottage in delightful surroundings – beautifully clean and well equipped. Wonderful New Year and a great way to start the new year. Beaches were lovely, crisp and clean with only a few people – one of the benefits of having a holiday at this time of year. Will be returning.
Nick, Tina + Gladys + various waifs and strays. Jan ’08. This is our second stay @ River cottage, yet again we have been overwhelmed by the beauty of the surroundings and the quality of the accommodation. A plus this time is that it did not rain! All who came to visit were very impressed by it all. So thanks again River Cottage.
Suzy & Dave Hughes. Feb ’08. Second time to Courtyard cottages – stayed at Clocktower cottage last time which is perfect for a romantic getaway! River cottage is ideal for a group of us to celebrate Dave’s birthday for the first part of the week and perfection for a romantic few days (once the others had left!) to celebrate Valentines. The Deacons. April ’08. Fantstic place – can’t fault a thing. Just a quick summary of good places to visit ! – St Davids, River walks + Cilgerran castle, Teifi valley railway, river walk from Cenarth, Skomer island – if you’re prepared for wind! And the sweet shop in Cardigan! In addition to restaurants previously mentioned the following were serving lovely food! – The White Hart at Cenarth, The Tevern Arms on the A487 towards Fishguard and the hotel in the centre of St Davids – but I can’t remember what its called ! Just a quick note in case anyone is ever looking for a camera shop …. The only one around is in Fishguard
Unknown. FAB PLACES TO EAT:- The Angel – Cardigan, Flat Rock café, Gwbert, Abduls Cardigan, Chinese Cardigan, Food for Thought, Cardigan High Street.
Mark, Suzanne, Olivia (3), Charlie (10 months) + Henry dog (7years). Apirl ’08. Once again a fantastic stay at Courtyard Cottages. Highly recommend Cardigan Island Farm, Poppit Sands and Folly Farm for children and adults alike! The weather has been wonderful except for one wet day which certainly did not dampen spirits. We can’t wait for our return next year and will be booking again as soon as we get home.
Sam & Avril Tucker. May ’08. Thank you for making our Honeymoon such a special time. The cottage is truly luxury & we will definitely be back with our family and friends. We had fantastic weather which meant we could make the most of the beaches & walks in the area. A much deserved & enjoyed break after the stresses & strains of planning our wedding. Chris + Brian Seabright. May ’08. Our fifth time at the cottages, and once again a terrific time. The cottages are beautiful and wonderful to live in. The location for us as fishermen + canoeists is fantastic. We love this part of Wales and could stay for ever! Message for Lee – Had a hot shower this morning – wheeeee! Andy + Paula Cox, Andy + Tina Fisher, Andy + Debbie Kendrick, Lotty – weimaraner. June’08. Excellent week had by all. Only 1 day of rain. Lovely accommodation. Good walks along Poppit Sands and from Cardigan back to cottage. A ‘40th’ to remember for Paula! Newport Sands – another lovely dog friendly beach. Watched dolphins from New Quay harbour and saw seals from coastline around ‘ Cemaes Head’ (by Poppit Sands) also ‘choughs’ and windchafs’

Ian and Sharon Ferguson. July’08. Lovley cottage. Very well appointed. Tremendous walking on and around the Pembrokeshire coast. Beautiful countryside far much better than expected.
Fryer family/ Juy’08. A lovely cottage, loved White sands (beach)! Some lovely shops in St Davids. Aquaphobia boat trip was brill !!! Saw seals, lovely birds + loads of scary caves! Unfortunately we was no porpoise (dolphins). Lots of places that sell ice-cream + lollies. Poppit sands had some great waves + a lovely beach!!! Weather brill, not a drop of rain. Dish-washer a little dodgey, could be improved!!! The barbque provided was good. Unfortunately no salmon caught in the river. OVERALL – an Excellent hol. 10/10
