Thank you all for your kind comments. We are delighted to see that you have enjoyed your time in Pembrokeshire, and particularly at the Pembrokeshire Courtyard Holiday Cottages.

Vince, Claire and family. New Year ‘07/’08. Cottage absolutely fab. Lovely walks weather very kind. Found Seven Stars pub very friendly. Ferry Inn good food, near Poppit Sands. Games room and video room great. Bubbly and chocs a nice touch, Jacuzzi fab. Cottage pure luxury – Thanks. Carpenter’s Arms not very welcoming to children.

Catrin, Angharad, Gill, Wyn, Mark and Dave. Feb ’08. Here for Wyn’s 60th Birthday. Cottage ideal, stylish, yet relaxed. Weather surprisingly good for the time of year. Mornings shooting with local fun club – excellent. To be recommended to other guests. Food at Nag’s Head v. good and superb meal at the Cnapan. Walked at Mwnt and along the Teifi river alongside the cottages – beautiful. We shall definitely recommend to others. Diolch eun binwythnos I’w chofis.

Mr. P Ground. Jan ’08. Top class place that we stayed, pity about the weather though. Poppit Sands great for people and dogs a like. Lee very good at her job, very warm welcome.

Bridget and Rick. Jan ’08. Lovely cottage wish we had booked for longer. Tried a few of the previous suggestions – pretty, but not that friendly. Food in Castell Malgwyn lovely – had Sunday lunch, very good. Mwnt and Poppit Sands lovely had a great time!

Feb ’08. Fantastic stay we really enjoyed ourselves and the dogs loved it.

Sarah and Sara. Feb ’08. ‘Wow’, amazing cottage, absolutely perfect for a weekend away. The whole weekend has been spent walking around saying ‘wow’! Walked up the river to the castle and then through the little village, stopped to re-charge at the Mason’s Arms where the locals were lovely (bitter was a bit warm though!). Thank you T& D for the perfect weekend and one I’m sure we’ll remember for a lifetime. Love x.

Dan & Fay. Feb ’08. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Lee and immediately felt at home. The open plan living space maintains the feeling of relaxation whether you are preparing diner or helping yourself to another glass of wine. This is the perfect base to explore the beautiful countryside and coastline of west Wales. We would love to come again and will recommend highly to others.

Sue, John, Hugo Flute, Ian & Jane Bolton. Feb ’08. Didn’t see Lee!! Lovely cottage set in a beautiful part of the country. The layout and design of the Coach house is well though out – it made a very good family home for the week. Really loved the bedroom in the Clocktower. We were really blessed with superb weather – I enjoyed miles and miles of running, managing to get lost on several occasions – much fun (smiley face) Hugo.

Claire and Jess. Feb ’08. Beautiful cottage and location – really enjoyed ourselves – will defo come back.

Kelly & Jamie Feb ’08. Absolutely stunning cottage and location. Will definitely come back.

Martin & Charlotte. Feb’08. Has just been wonderful thank you so much such a relaxing beautiful place to be. We feel so sad to be leaving. Splendid !

Tracy & Nick (Boddie & Tara – the dogs) 29th February 2008. A warm welcome, superb cottage and a beautiful location. Clocktower cottage will remain a special memory for us. My partner said ‘Yes’ to my marriage proposal down on Poppit Sands. The champagne and chocolates helped immensely with our celebrations – thanks for getting them for us. We strongly recommend the Pemberton’s Chocolates they are divine. Did lots of walking and sitting by the log burner. We plan to come back next leap year or perhaps before…..Thanks, Tracy, Nick & the dogs.

Becky and Kev. March’08. We’ve had an amazing stay here in the Clocktower, so much better than we imagined, it looked good enough on the web site! The cottage and surrounding area are very special, much more than your average cottage. Poppit Sands – the largest beach we’ve ever been on. Mwnt the smallest, both great. Cardigan, Fishguard and Tenby all nice places to visit especially Aquarium & Reptile place in Tenby. Very good food in the White Hart (next village away from Cardigan) great food at Nag’s Head. Also great (and a bit more special) is the Castell Malgwyn (30 second walk!). We really hope to come back here in the summer months one year when everything is open and the Dolphins are about. Thank you Tanya & Dylan !

Sarah & Russ. March’08. Lovely relaxing weekend in this beautiful cottage which exceeded expectations! Nice walk along the river, but very mudy if it rains – take your wellies! Cardigan – lovely for a couple of hours at the different shops. Good deli at the top left of the high street. Went to Castell Malgwyn and were sadly disappointed. Felt it was overpriced and lacked the quality we were expecting after reading the previous reviews in this book. Overall a wonderful stay which we hope to be doing again soon! Thanks.

Vicky and Sam. March’08. We’ve had such a wonderful time and the Clocktower cottage was perfect, much better than we ever expected! We ate at the Nag’s Head which was nice and visited New Quay, Mwnt and Poppit Sands which were gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back especially when it’s a bit warmer as this place will hold precious memories as this is where we got engaged! Don’t ever want to go home! Thanks Vicky and Sam.

Demelo and Dwayne. March’08. Lovely cottage and location. Will definitely be back in the summer. Thanks for all the help.

Sarah, Andy, Alan and Zac (the dog) March’08. Had a wonderful few days; cottage excellent. Would definitely recommend the Nag’s Head for food, but don’t go to the Boncath Inn – food awful. Poppit beach lovely, would also recommend Solva and St. Davids very pretty. A great week had by all will definitely be back. Thank you.

The Kemp family. April’08. Fantastic week, really enjoyed Otter watching in the river by the cottage (saw it four times), spotted dolphins and grey seals and lots of red kites. Liked beaches at Aberporth, Mwnt and coastal walk at Llangrannog. Kids really enjoyed the sweet shop in Cardigan and enjoyed a visit to the cinema there. We have all had a really relaxing enjoyable week. Thanks.

Susan, Jess, Caroline, Steve and Liz. April’08. What a lovely cottage! Absolutely fantastic walks along the river and coast path. If you want a really good diner try Llysmeddyg (beside the Golden Lion pub in Newport) get in before they get to busy. Thank you for a lovely cottage and wonderful holiday, we will be back! Susan & Jess Clapton.

The Oliver family. April’08. A very peaceful and comfortable short break. Thank you!

Caroline and Vicky Osbourne and Boris (paw print). April’08. A very relaxing holiday, great base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Boris loved the walks !

Sarah, Russ, Julie, Gavin and Roxy and Ruby (paw prints). May’08. Myself and my boyfriend came here in March and loved it so much we booked within a day of being home to come again. This time we brought my mum, brother and the dogs! Had a lovely weekend, went to Aberporth, Mwnt and New Quay which were all lovely places. Something to bear in mind a lot of pubs only serve 12 – 2 or 2 -3pm for lunch. Sometimes we had a lazy morning and found by 2:30pm lots of places had stopped serving!! Always a bag of chips by the sea as an alternative option though!! Looking forward to returning for our third visit! Sarah and gang xx

Sue, Geoff, Emma and Sav. May’08. Fantastic cottage – we were all surprised by the quality and size of Clocktower and the facilities here. Didn’t see any otters but saw a mink by the river next to the cottages. A great last holiday before our baby is born and Sue and Geoff become grandparents!

Neal and Julie Parker. May’08. Stunning cottage set in a spectacular part of the country. Found some great beaches (Newport, Poppit and especially Mwnt). Had some unbelievable weather - highlight of the week was an exhilarating boat trip around Cardigan Island with “a bay to remember” – hold on tight!! Received a warm welcome at the Carpenters Arms (ignoring previous comments) also enjoyed good food at the Nag’s Head (Abercych). The Pendre Inn at Cilgerran also has a very hospitable landlord. The river walks to these pubs are an absolute must! Celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary with a superb meal at the hotel (30 seconds away) and topped off the week watching the locals fishing from coracles in the river below at midnight.

Dingmans and Miller. May’08. Despite some poor weather it was an enjoyable stay in great surroundings. A good place for three generations to enjoy together. River walks to the castle were enjoyable. Good beaches at Poppit Sands and Mwnt. Recommend the Nag’s Head, but book.

P.D.& S.L. Boden. June’08. Another wonderful holiday in Clocktower, best place for our 40th Wedding Anniversary (1st June). Poppit Sands, Mwnt, the castle and river walks all super. Warm welcome from Lee. Many thanks to her and all her staff for another fantastic holiday. Mr. & Mrs. D Barker . (June’08). Fantastic cottage, lovely area had plenty of walks with the dog (Bob). Dave did loads of fishing, weather not that hot but god for walking. Had fantastic meals at the White Hart at Cenarth and Nags Head.

Claire & Donald & Hugh Macaulay (June). Sun and showers but plenty of fun to be had for a toddler on the beach at Mwnt (our favourite) ,Newport and Poppit Sands. Great river walks at Cenarth and to Cilgerran Castle – do go to the Mason’s Arms rather than Pendre - much more friendly. Nag’s Head very popular for Sunday lunch (Abercych) so get there early if you haven’t booked. Wonderful bedroom although steps up made for interesting toddler mountaineering – he loved it !

Mr. & Mrs. Reed (July’08). Such a lovely, cosy and well equipped cottage in which to spend our Honeymoon, with a very much appreciated gift from the owners on our arrival ! We have had a fun filled week including – Great meals at Castell Malgwyn Hotel and the floating Indian in Cardigan harbour; Fantastic walk around Dinas Head – takes 2 hours with a great pub over Pwyllgwaelod beach (yummy lunch!); Canoeing on river Teifi was amazing; Boat ride around Ramsey Island was great but we could only do one hour due to sea conditions. If you want to see dolphins then may contact with companies early and be prepared to be flexible on days/ times of trips. We used thousand island expeditions; Horse riding on beach at Nolton Haven. 1 hour dirve away but well worth it. We both ride and they had horses to suit us down to us completely new riders. Very professional company and an amazing experience; Fly-fishing lesson with Harry from Teifi River Guides was brilliant and well worth every penny.; Go to Mwnt bay we went for sunset which was beautiful , especially as we were joined by a pod of Dolphins and a cheeky seal !; St Davids is beautiful with great galleries, Fishguard is pointless – don’t go! All in all a fantastic holiday, we hope you find our comments useful. Claire and Matthew xxx.

Richard, Lorraine and Shelly Peacock (July ’08). St David’s coastal walk was breathtaking and we had lovely weather Tuesday for it. The rest of the holiday was wet, so disappointing. Lovely cottage and very pretty area.
