About us and the Pembrokeshire Courtyard Cottages
Hello Tanya & Dylan here from the Pembrokeshire Courtyard Cottages, Wales, UK. Pembrokeshire is situated at the furthest south west tip of Wales, and The Courtyard itself nestles in a bend in the river Teifi, in a peaceful and secluded part of north Pembrokeshire. Access to the holiday cottages is via a long, private tree – lined drive. For those interested in a Fishing Holiday, we offer private fishing on site, along this stretch of river. For those who prefer the splendour of the Pembrokeshire National Park, the coastline and nearest beach is only 5 miles away. Our luxury cottages are also conveniently placed to explore the neighbouring counties of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire.
We took over this beautiful Courtyard 6 years ago. Since then we have been very busy restoring these charming holiday cottages to their full potential. The luxury cottages are each set in a corner of the Courtyard, with their own seating area outside each cottage, as well as a central seating area. We have furnished the cottages such that guests will enjoy their stay all year round. They are all supplied with large luxurious sofas in spacious sitting rooms, excellent quality beds and pocket-sprung mattresses, well equipped modern kitchens and digital TVs, DVD & Video players with a large (>350) video library. They are all centrally heated, and all have wood burners.
We like to stay in each cottage ourselves whenever we can, to ensure that they continue to offer an excellent standard of accommodation for our guests. Our Pembrokeshire cottages all offer pet friendly accommodation, and the opportunity to fish on site. They all have some view of the river Teifi or its tributary. The area has a selection of lovely places for eating out. Entirely separate from the Courtyard Holiday Cottages, and hidden by a large bank of trees is the small country house hotel –The Castell Malgwyn. This is within a 2 minute walk.
